About the project
ContextOS keeps engineering rules in a shared source. Its CLI selects rules for a task and exports configurations for coding agents, so the same rules can be maintained across tools.
Technologies
Built with JavaScript and Node.js. The CLI is published as contextos-agents on npm, with an accompanying contextos-mcp package.
What is inside
Task-based rule selection
Selects the relevant rules for a task instead of adding the full rule set to every agent session.
Agent configuration exports
Generates agent-specific configuration from a shared set of rules.
Drift checks in CI
Checks whether generated configurations match the source rules.
